Be an Education Sponsor

Education sponsors (and board members) have special relationships with the girls.

Education sponsors (and board members) have special relationships with the girls.

These are our angels without whom we could not have such a successful story about our graduates. These are people who donate generous sums, year after year, in support of one, or several girls, with whom they have a special relationship. Education sponsors also write letters, visit the girls in Haiti (when it works for the safety of the girls and the visitors), and often commit to supporting them every step of the way (though that is not a requirement).

To learn more and be paired with a girl, click the “I WANT TO BECOME AN EDUCATION SPONSOR” button below and our Education Specialist and Haiti Liason, Niv McGivney will tell you all about this special opportunity. You can also read some highlights here.

If you are already an Education Sponsor and want to make your annual contribution via credit card, or set up a monthly Education Sponsor donation, click the button below.

YOUR IMPACT

I like to help clean-up!

Haiti is the most poverty-stricken place in the Western Hemisphere where less than 10 percent of the country’s entire population graduates from high school. The lack of access to education, as well as a nurturing space to strengthen their ability to flourish, is exactly what we aim to address.

In 2019, of the 17 high schoolers we provided for, three graduated from high school. As of 2023, we support higher education costs for 10 girls. These success stories are a direct result of the girls’ support systems — the foundation for any resilient student.

Most of our donors give between $425 to $750 a year to provide the education and nutrition for 30+ students, girls at both the Reviel Martinel Orphanage and Le Maison for the older young women, both in the Delmas neighborhood of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Since our specific tie is to this community of girls in Haiti, it is for the future of Haiti that we do this work and invite you to join us as a financial supporter.

You can learn about the impact your donations will have on these students’ futures below.

$25: food for 1 girl, 1 month, 3meals
